Pete Longworth is a Sydney based photographer. Originally from outback NSW, Pete has spent the majority of his life on the road less-traveled. He has lived and studied around the world and travels annually to Asia to teach International students photography.
Pete exhibits his art regularly and takes his journalistic style to commercial endeavours in portraiture, property and travel.
Upcoming events include a book project on Central America entitled ‘Misadventure with a Plastic Camera’. There is another collaboration with Michael K. Chin, this time in Tokyo, and Pete has a current exhibition at Airport North gallery.

For nine sleepless weeks, he became one with his environment, living and breathing the kaleidoscopic microcosm at the very heart of Sydney. Often he was rising as the darkness fell and calling it a night at noon.
Tales of misadventure came hand-in-hand with this charming array of imagery … the police suspected Pete of being a suicide jumper, there was miscommunications with drunken partygoers, unplanned siestas in inappropriate places, friendly episodes with buskers and curious encounters with wildlife … all-in-all the project provided a fair share of interesting moments.
